A/Prof Bindu Murali is a senior female gynaecologist, laparoscopic and robotic surgeon with extensive clinical and surgical experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She lives in Wollongong and has been working in the Wollongong/Shell Harbour region for over 10 years. A/Prof Murali works as a senior staff specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the Wollongong and Shellharbour public hospitals as well as a visiting medical officer in Wollongong private and Shell Harbour Private Hospital.

She is actively involved in the training of The Royal Australia & New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology accredited registrars and is a mentor for junior consultants in the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
